Random Melody Generator
Pick a key, a tempo, a time signature, a genre and a feel, and it writes you a melody — with the chords underneath, a motif that actually comes back, and a PDF or MIDI file at the end. Good for sight-reading, for practising a scale in context, and for getting unstuck when you are writing.
Harmony Finder
Sing a tune, type it in, or send one over from the other tools, and it works out a second part to go with it: thirds, sixths, a proper chord-tone harmony that follows the chords your own melody implies, or a full three-part arrangement.
Tuner
Guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin and the string family, in twenty-odd tunings from standard through drop D and DADGAD to open C. It tells you which string you are on and how far out you are, and confirms each one once it has held in tune.
What Note Is That?
Sing or play a note and it tells you which one it is, how many cents sharp or flat you are, and writes it onto a stave as you go. Handles transposing instruments, so a trumpeter sees what they would read rather than what sounds.
Melody Transcriber
Play along to a click and it writes the whole thing out: pitches, rhythm, barlines, key signature and rests. Anything it mishears can be nudged by hand, and it exports to PDF or MIDI when you are happy with it.

Random drum notation with playback, difficulty levels and custom rhythm options. For sight-reading, moving around the kit and building a fill vocabulary.

A browser metronome with subdivisions and odd time signatures. No app to install and nothing to pay for.
A few things worth knowing
The microphone tools need a quiet-ish room and one sound at a time. Pitch detection works by finding a repeating pattern in the waveform. A single sustained note has one; a chord, a backing track or a room full of people does not. If it is guessing wildly, that is usually why.
Nothing is uploaded. The microphone is opened when you press the button and released the moment you press stop. No audio, and no notes, leave the page.
They work on a phone. All four are built for a phone on a music stand first and a desktop second.
